David Myers is a chef, restaurateur and a global citizen with an insatiable hunger for travel. He has long been lauded by titles such as Food & Wine, the James Beard Foundation and Angeleno magazine for his passion and dedication to the culinary world. His first restaurant in LA, Sona, was awarded a Michelin star for three consecutive years. Other successful concepts include Comme ça, Pizzeria Ortica and Hinoki & the bird, which was named Best New Restaurant by Esquire.
In 2010 David set his sight for Asia as he went on to open concepts in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong and Nagoya. In 2017 he was named Chef of the Year by Esquire after launching three new venues in Dubai. He has appeared on TV shows such as Iron Chef America, The Today Show, The Early Show, MSNBC’s Your Business, Top Chef, Master Chef US, Master Chef China and Hell’s Kitchen.
In each of David’s award-winning restaurants, he draws upon the indigenous flavours and ingredients discovered through his travels around the world to create an exclusive collection of dining and drinking experiences.
